In Still Rain, with Clint Lowery, Corey Lowery, Troy McLawhorn and Donnie Hamby. Still Rain played everywhere from Daytona to Atlanta and up to Louisville, KY, mixing multiple sets of covers with their own original music. Doing this, they built up quite a big following. After doing this for a few years, they decided to go all original, producing their own first cd (they had done tapes before, which sold out quickly) called Still Rain. A second cd, Bitter Black Water, soon followed. After doing this for a couple of years, Donnie - the singer - left the group and the rest of them carried on as a band called Mouthpiece with Corey, Clint and Troy taking turns singing lead. This did not last long. They soon broke apart and went their separate ways.
